Message from the Campus Principal
Head Start has been a success, giving teachers and students the opportunity to learn their strengths and weaknesses going into 2025. With this knowledge, we can improve our LC culture and environment, supporting all students to access the very best learning and education. Students' understanding of the L2L framework and its implementation in the LC has improved.
Students and homeroom teachers look forward to seeing all the parents for the Student-led Conferences next week. Students have been working hard on their presentations and can’t wait to present what they have learnt throughout Head Start.
I would like to take a moment to thank all the students, Staff, CA Team, and Board for their support over the last two terms. It has been great to see such an improvement in the school culture and academic achievement. As a school, we are working hard to improve both aspects, and I believe that in 2025, we will continue to show significant improvement.
As RoE approaches, I look forward to seeing all the parents and students in Nelson for this big day. This is a reminder to check the roads the day before to choose the best route to Nelson. Students should ensure to be present at the Nelson Campus by the start of the regular school day.

YEAR 7-8 ASSIGNMENT
As part of the Cross Curricular Assignment, the year 7-8's have been making the most of the pallet wood collected from earlier in the year. The year 8's have been passing on their knowledge of measuring, cutting and drilling to the year 7's and they have been successful in completing their planter boxes for home.
Well done team.
Take a moment to show your appreciation to a staff member, student, parent or volunteer who has made a positive impact on you in the past week.
